massago is seeking a highly motivated Grants Program Manager to join the Executive Bureau Grants Unit in Boston. This position will manage multiple grant programs supporting vital community initiatives, ensuring proper oversight and execution of funding.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in grants management or public sector program development and possess strong analytical and communication skills.
This is a full-time, hybrid position requiring occasional travel within Massachusetts.
Executive Bureau Grants Unit (Boston Office). The Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell is looking for a highly motivated individual to serve as a Program Manager in the Grants Unit of the Executive Bureau. The Grants Unit administers competitive grant programs statewide that are funded in part by the AGO’s enforcement work.
These programs return millions of dollars to local communities each year to support a wide range of initiatives, including maternal health, summer youth employment opportunities, and eviction record sealing. The Grants Unit also applies for and manages federal funding, which helps expand the AGO’s work.
The Grants Program Manager will assist the Grants Unit Director with management of multiple grant programs that support the strategic priorities of the AGO. Duties include facilitating the initial request for grant proposals; reviewing grant application materials; updating program guidelines; contracting with grantees; reviewing programmatic and fiscal reports; ensuring timely and accurate disbursal of grant funds; providing technical assistance to grantees; ensuring successful grantee program completion; preparing evaluation reports; and other tasks as assigned by the Director. Occasional travel to grantee sites in Massachusetts may be required. Position will assist with the administration of federal grants on an as‑needed basis.

Full-Time/Non-Exempt
Our current hybrid model includes some remote workdays for most positions. On in‑office days, employees are required to report to one of our designated office locations, either in Boston or at a regional office.
