The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services in Tallahassee seeks a Government Analyst II to coordinate grant and procurement activities within the Division of Administration. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 8 years experience in grant program coordination, public procurement, contract development, policy and compliance review, or administrative program support.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience in the same areas; or Master’s degree substituting for one year of experience.

Responsabilités

• Prepare state and/or federal grant funding opportunity notices and coordinate with departmental approvals.
• Publish funding opportunities on the Grants Opportunity portal and maintain templates and training documents.
• Process competitive solicitations for commodities and/or contractual services, including notices, evaluations, andVendor information portal postings.
• Represent the department as acquisition expert during pre-bid and evaluation conferences; oversee procurement documents and vendor reviews.
• Assist in the development of audit responses and public records requests; support general Purchasing Office operations.
