Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability in financial management, including budgeting, reporting, and analysis.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail and accuracy; ability to plan and prioritize across multiple awards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with faculty, staff, and sponsors.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with initiative and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Develop budgets and expenditures across multiple awards and portfolios.
  • Prepare financial analyses, forecasts, and long-range projections.
  • Ensure compliance with sponsor requirements and university policies in financial planning.
  • Manage pre- and post-award activities including renewals, progress reports, and closeouts.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize resource allocation and stewardship.
