National Capital Treatment & Recovery, a nonprofit substance use treatment facility in Arlington, VA, is hiring a full-time Grants Manager responsible for researching, writing and submitting proposals for government and foundation funding.

The role involves researching federal, state, and local grants, developing budgets with input from Finance, Clinical and HR teams, and coordinating responses to RFPs.

Strong track record securing government grants and a Bachelor’s degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in development or grant writing.
• Experience with submitting RFPs and government contracts.
• History of securing 5-7 figure government grants.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Knowledge of DOJ, DHHS, HRSA or similar agencies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify new funding prospects.
• Develop and write grant proposals.
• Develop budgets for grant proposals with input from Finance, Clinical & HR teams.
• Coordinate responses to government RFPs and solicitations.
• Project manage input and information flow for RFPs.
• Assist with other related special projects as needed.
