Job summary

CAMBA’s Grants Manager will oversee a portfolio of public and private funding opportunities, crafting compelling proposals and reports, and coordinating across CAMBA’s program, fiscal, and leadership teams. You will translate program data into persuasive narratives, identify new funding prospects, and manage timelines to ensure timely submissions.

The role requires strong writing and editing skills, the ability to synthesize complex information, and experience in a larger nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of grant-writing or fundraising experience.
• Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to synthesize information into a clear narrative from multiple sources.
• Strong research, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Build compelling proposals for a portfolio of public and private funders from start to finish.
• Research government, foundation and other funding opportunities that align with CAMBA’s programs.
• Turn program information and outcomes into clear, persuasive narratives.
• Coordinate with program, fiscal, evaluation and leadership teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
• Manage deadlines and submission requirements across the portfolio.
