Job summary

Community Health Northwest Florida is seeking a dedicated Grants Manager to lead the Grants Department in Pensacola. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and several years of grant management or accounting experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Excel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of accounting or grant management experience preferred in healthcare.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, GL, and grant compliance.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Grants Department.
• Manage grant implementation, reporting, applications, invoicing, and compliance.
• Prepare grant financial reports, budgets, and variance analyses.
• Monitor grant expenditures and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Collaborate with Clinical Directors, Office Managers, and Program Managers on grant initiatives.
• Assist with audits, financial reporting, and process improvement.
• Supervise and develop Grant Support Staff.

Community Health Northwest Florida is seeking a dedicated and experienced Grants Manager to join our team. This leadership position plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of the Grants Department while ensuring grant compliance, financial accountability, and successful implementation of grant-funded programs. The Grants Manager partners with organizational leaders to develop and execute grant strategies that support our mission of improving community health.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Grants Department.
• Manage grant implementation, reporting, applications, invoicing, and compliance.
• Prepare grant financial reports, budgets, and budget-to-actual variance analyses.
• Monitor grant expenditures and ensure compliance with grant requirements, GAAP, and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with Clinical Directors, Office Managers, and Program Managers to support grant-funded initiatives.
• Assist with audits, financial reporting, and continuous process improvement.
• Supervise and develop Grant Support Staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Social Work, or a related field.
• At least three years of accounting or grant management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, general ledger, and grant compliance.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with grants, finance, or accounting in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
