Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance, operations, grant management, or business administration
• Experience in nonprofit sector strongly preferred
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks experience required)
• Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience with grant management and budget tracking
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Commitment to confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information

Responsibilities

• Financial Management and Support: assist with financial review, analysis, and reporting.
• Support budgeting processes and financial forecasting for the organization.
• Monitor grant budgets to ensure adherence to approved spending plans.
• Collaborate with Program Managers on grant invoicing and budget revision requests.
• Assist with accounts payable/receivable with Finance.
• Support financial statement preparation for Executive Director and Board.
• Help maintain financial controls and nonprofit best practices.
• Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Reconcile grant payments, sponsorships, and donations with development records.
• Track and ensure timely receipt of expected payments.
