Job summary

The Office of Early Childhood (OEC) in Connecticut seeks two Grants and Contracts Specialists to manage agency procurements and contract administration. The role covers monitoring contract performance, developing RFAs/RFPs, and ensuring compliance with state procurement standards.

Responsibilities include evaluating proposals, providing technical assistance to grantees, and preparing quarterly/annual program reports. The position is full-time, located in Hartford with a hybrid telework option.

Qualifications

• Seven years of grant program management experience.
• Experience with contracts, including drafting and reviewing documents and knowledge of state procurement.
• Strong knowledge of grant preparation and administration.
• Experience with CORE-CT and CTSource is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized grants management duties.
• Develops and evaluates RFAs/RFPs per policy.
• Monitors grant funds and ensures compliance with terms.
• Prepares contracts and agreements related to grant activities.
• Analyzes programs and prepares reporting.
