Responsibilities

Coordinate grant and contract proposals from preparation through submission.
Prepare budgets, budget justifications, and related materials.
Review funding opportunities and advise investigators on sponsor requirements.
Collaborate with investigators, funding agencies, and university offices throughout the proposal process.
Ensure compliance with policies and regulations (human subjects, animal research, biosafety, COI).
Manage sponsored awards from award through closeout.
Monitor expenditures and budgets to ensure proper use of funds.
Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and funding projections.
Advise investigators on grant administration and funding guidelines.
Support complex sponsored projects with multiple investigators and subawards.
