Job summary

Marion County Public Health Department is seeking a Contracting Administrator to oversee administering, reviewing, interpreting, and negotiating MOUs, LOAs, subawards, and other contracts for grant-funded programs across MCPHD and Eskenazi Health organizations.

The role requires evaluating templates to ensure compliance with current federal, state, and city requirements, maintaining contract files, and coordinating with Grants, Legal, and Purchasing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with six+ years of related contracting, grants, or legal experience.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Federal grants management experience, including 2 CFR Part 200, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the creation and review of subcontracts, MOUs, LOAs, and grant awards.
• Prepare final contracts for execution by the Authorized Official.
• Monitor contract timelines and lifecycle from initiation to signed execution.
• Ensure state contracts are in the state portal within 30 days of execution.
• Submit federal contracts to Sam.gov within 30 days of execution.
• Maintain accurate contract records for audits.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Purchasing.
• Serve as main point of contact with outside organizations on agreements.
• Input and track grant contracts in contracting system.
