Job summary

The Omaha Tribe of Nebraska is seeking a Grant Administrator to oversee grants and PL 93-638 contracts, ensuring accurate data collection, reporting, and compliance across programs.

You will coordinate with the Program Director and Finance, maintain records, monitor budgets and forecasting, prepare monthly reports, and assist with audits and closeouts. This is a full-time on-site role in Macy, Nebraska, requiring attention to detail, integrity, and proactive collaboration with tribal leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with minimum two years of related experience.
• Experience in tribal governments, tribally-led organizations, foundations, nonprofits, or private sector is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee grant proposals and P.L. 93-638 contracts administration and compliance.
• Maintain reporting matrices and timelines for on-time submissions.
• Coordinate with Program Directors and Finance on expenditures, deliverables, and audit needs.
• Prepare budgets, drawdowns, and close-out documentation for audits.
