Job summary

The Grants Analyst at the Indiana Department of Environmental Management ensures accurate and compliant fiscal administration of grants across all phases of the grant lifecycle, from application through closeout.

This role serves as the financial liaison between program staff, finance leadership, and federal and state agencies, supporting budget development, financial reporting, grant draws, and compliance monitoring.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and GAAP.
• Extensive knowledge of state and federal social service program accounting and budgeting.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports, statements, and projections.
• Advanced computer skills in Excel, Access, Encompass, Hyperion, and PeopleSoft Financials.
• At least 8 years in accounting, auditing, financial analysis, or related experience, including 1 year of supervisory experience.
