POSITION SUMMARY

The Grant Writer is a full-time position responsible for identifying, developing, securing, and supporting the management of external funding opportunities that advance the mission, strategic priorities, and programs of Wallowa County Education Service District (WCESD).

This position expands educational opportunities, strengthens regional partnerships, and secures additional resources for school districts and communities served by WCESD. Working with ESD leadership, program directors, local districts, and community partners, the Grant Writer researches opportunities, develops proposals, coordinates submissions, and supports reporting and compliance.

The successful candidate is a self-directed strategic thinker who translates organizational needs into compelling proposals and develops systems supporting long-term financial sustainability. Experience working within education is preferred but not required.
