Grant Proposal Specialist – Broadband Equity & Access

We are seeking a Grant Proposal Specialist to support the preparation, review, and submission of complex government funding applications, with a primary focus on state-level grant opportunities through the Broadband, Equity, Access, and Development (BEAD) program. This role is essential to helping the organization secure public funding for broadband infrastructure expansion and access initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings strong project ownership, cross-functional coordination skills, and experience navigating public sector processes. You’ll work with internal stakeholders and external partners to translate business needs into compelling and compliant grant applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze eligibility criteria, application requirements, and funding structures of broadband-focused state and federal grants.
• Own end-to-end development of proposals, including writing responses, coordinating internal input, and ensuring timely submission.
• Collaborate with program managers, legal, and finance to ensure accuracy, alignment, and approval of application materials.
• Monitor changes to grant guidelines, deadlines, and scoring criteria.
• Maintain templates, trackers, and supporting documentation across multiple concurrent submissions.
• Review previously submitted proposals and implement process improvements.
• Participate in internal process review meetings and contribute to post-submission debriefs and audits.
