Job summary

aFit Staffing is seeking an experienced RHTP Grant Manager to support Indiana’s Rural Health Transformation Program. You will provide strategic oversight of grant compliance, financial stewardship, and performance reporting across multiple sub-awardees, collaborating with program, finance, and data teams to ensure state and federal requirements are met.

You will supervise Grant Analysts and help build monitoring processes that drive accountability and measurable outcomes across the initiative.

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of grant administration, program evaluation, quality assurance, data analysis, or data management.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws governing financial and programmatic activities.
  • Working knowledge of business administration, accounting principles, and grant management.
  • Experience reviewing financial data and managing compliance-related activities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PeopleSoft Financials.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation of risk-based monitoring systems for sub-awardee compliance.
  • Oversee desk, virtual, and on-site monitoring activities.
  • Interpret state and federal grant requirements and ensure adherence across funded partners.
  • Develop and monitor corrective action plans to address compliance deficiencies.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and support state and federal audits.
  • Review complex financial documentation and validate allowable expenditures.
  • Oversee sub-award spending utilizing PeopleSoft Financials.
  • Evaluate reporting data for accuracy, completeness, and performance alignment.
  • Identify financial and operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on grant, finance, and administrative matters.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to sub-awardees.
  • Collaborate with program, finance, and data teams to resolve issues and improve program performance.
  • Contribute to enhancements of monitoring tools, templates, and procedures.
  • Supervise RHTP Grant Analyst team members.
  • Promote accountability, collaboration, and consistent grant management practices.

About the Role

aFit Staffing is seeking an experienced RHTP Grant Manager to support the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). This is a highly visible leadership opportunity focused on strengthening rural healthcare systems and ensuring responsible stewardship of grant-funded resources throughout Indiana.

The Grant Manager will provide strategic oversight of grant compliance, monitoring activities, financial stewardship, and performance reporting across multiple sub-awardees. This role will work closely with program, finance, and data teams to ensure all state and federal requirements are met while supporting long-term rural health transformation goals.

In addition to serving as a key resource for division leadership, this position will supervise Grant Analysts and help build sustainable monitoring processes that drive accountability, transparency, and measurable outcomes across the initiative.

What You'll Do
Program Leadership & Compliance
  • Lead implementation of risk-based monitoring systems for sub-awardee compliance.
  • Oversee desk, virtual, and on-site monitoring activities.
  • Interpret state and federal grant requirements and ensure adherence across funded partners.

What You Bring
Required Qualifications

  • Hybrid work arrangement with 2-3 days in office.
  • Full-time assignment, 37.5 hours per week.
