The Internet Archive seeks a skilled Grant Manager to lead and grow our portfolio of foundation, government, and corporate funders. This role manages the full grant lifecycle—from prospecting and proposal development to compliance and reporting.

We’re looking for a strategic, detail-oriented communicator with excellent writing and project management skills who’s passionate about preserving universal access to knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and expand a pipeline of institutional funders.
• Align proposals with program goals and financial priorities.
• Draft and submit compelling grant proposals, reports, and budgets.
• Track deadlines, deliverables, and compliance in CiviCRM.
• Collaborate with staff to articulate impact and tell our story.
• Maintain organized grant records and steward funder relationships.
• Support team meetings and strategic fundraising planning.
  
  

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in grant writing and institutional fundraising.
• Proven success securing funding from foundations or government agencies.
• Strong writing, editing, and project management skills.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (CiviCRM preferred).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant experience a plus.
