Job summary

McDonough District Hospital Foundation seeks a Grants & Programming Manager to coordinate major grant-funded programs, including Rural Health Transformation and HRSA initiatives. The role requires coordinating across leadership, departments, and external partners, ensuring compliance with budgets and timelines.

The ideal candidate will manage multiple complex projects, monitor performance, and drive reporting and closeout activities in a collaborative, grant-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health care administration, public health, business administration, project management, finance, data analytics, community health, public administration, or a related field required.
• Master's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in grant coordination, program coordination, program management, grant-funded program implementation, or a closely related role required.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects, programs, or grants simultaneously required.
• Experience working with federal grants, cooperative agreements, or federally funded programs strongly preferred.
• Healthcare, rural health, or public health experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with HRSA, CMS, HHS, state health agencies, or similar governmental funding programs preferred.
• Experience identifying funding opportunities and coordinating successful grant applications preferred.
• Experience in data analytics, performance measurement, dashboard development, or data visualization preferred.
• Experience with health care quality improvement or performance improvement methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, implement, monitor, and support major grant-funded and strategic programs at MDH.
• Serve as central point of coordination between hospital leadership, departments, Finance, partners, and stakeholders.
• Ensure grant-funded programs meet objectives, budgets, timelines, performance measures, and regulatory requirements.
• Move projects from concept through implementation, evaluation, reporting, and closeout.
