Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, social work, or a related field, 2+ years of experience working with students in a college or career readiness setting.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in education, counseling, social work, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of working with students from disadvantaged backgrounds

Grant-Funded Student Transition Specialist

The Student Transition Specialist plays a critical role in supporting students as they transition from high school to postsecondary education or the workforce. This position provides comprehensive advising, coaching, and resource coordination to help students define and achieve their academic and career goals. The Student Transition Specialist fosters student success through individualized guidance, group programming, and collaboration with campus and community partners to remove barriers and promote equitable outcomes.

Position Summary
