Qualifications

• Ph.D. required with transcript
• Three years of post-doctoral biomedical or laboratory-based research experience
• Experience conducting independent experiments, data collection and analysis, and scientific documentation

Responsibilities

• Design, conduct, and troubleshoot experiments using electrophysiology, neurobiology, molecular, cellular, histologic, imaging, and/or biochemical techniques as applicable to the lab
• Collect, analyze, and document experimental data
• Maintain notebooks, databases, and research records
• Coordinate day-to-day progress of research projects
• Support protocol implementation, quality control, and reagent management
• Prepare figures and reports for manuscripts, grants, and sponsor deliverables
• Contribute to manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations
• Train and guide students and junior personnel in lab procedures and safety
• Perform other duties as assigned
