The Silveira lab at The University of Texas at San Antonio is seeking a Research Science Associate II to contribute to neuroscience research. This full-time, grant-funded role involves conducting experiments, data analysis, onboarding new trainees, and supporting lab management.

Candidates should be prepared to work on campus. The position is grant-funded and may be extended or shortened based on available funds and workload.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma, Vocational Training, or Apprenticeship in a related field.
• Three years of related work experience; additional education may substitute on a year-for-year basis.

Responsabilidades

• Contributes to lab management including placing orders and preparing solutions.
• Acquire electrophysiology data independently.
• Perform data analysis and interpretation of results.
• Manage and genotype the mouse colony.
• Train new personnel in the laboratory.
• Keep accurate records.
