Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• One (1) year of related experience preferred; with no degree, four additional years of related experience.
• Fingerprinting required.
• Essential Employees may be required to work during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Performs professional and technical accounting and financial duties for the Operations & Performance Management Division at the Marco Island Executive Airport.
• Prepares budgetary, accounting, financial and statistical records; reviews and analyzes financial transactions and issues grant draws and reports.
• Administers grant budgets, monitors compliance, prepares grant reports, and ensures accurate general ledger reconciliation.
• Conducts internal reviews and audits to ensure compliance with grant requirements and county policies.
• Analyzes historical costs and projects future financial needs; prepares budget amendments and journal entries.
• Performs data entry and prepares financial records; provides training on procurement and accounts payable processes.
