Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Grant Accountant in Stow, Ohio to manage accounting and financial reporting for grant-funded programs in a nonprofit setting. This role offers exposure to grant accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting responsibilities within a collaborative team.

You will track grant expenditures, ensure costs align with funding terms, support HUD and other government-funded programs, and assist with SEFA preparation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• A few years of accounting experience, ideally within a nonprofit, grant-funded, or government-funded environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and financial reporting for assigned grants and funded programs.
• Track grant expenditures and ensure costs are properly recorded and aligned with funding requirements.
• Support accounting and reporting related to HUD and other government-funded programs.
• Assist with preparation of the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA).
