Job summary

National Design Mart in Medina, OH is seeking a Granite Warehouse Specialist to support countertop operations through inventory management, material handling, and exceptional warehouse organization. Responsibilities

• Load and unload granite, quartz, stone slabs, countertops, and related materials.
• Pull, stage, and prepare materials for customer pickup and job-site delivery.
• Assist customers and installers with material pickups and product questions.
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate shortages, overages, and discrepancies.
• Process returns and create return documentation for vendor returns.
• Organize, stock, and maintain warehouse inventory and storage areas.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Work closely with sales, fabrication, installation, and delivery teams

We are seeking a dependable Granite Warehouse Specialist to support our countertop operations team through inventory management, material handling, customer service, and warehouse organization.

Job Summary

As a Granite Warehouse Specialist, you will assist customers, installers, and delivery teams by preparing orders, loading materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring warehouse operations run efficiently. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in warehouse operations, material handling, inventory control, construction materials, countertops, cabinetry, or shipping and receiving.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload granite, quartz, stone slabs, countertops, and related materials
• Pull, stage, and prepare materials for customer pickup and job-site delivery
• Assist customers and installers with material pickups and product questions
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips
• Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate shortages, overages, and discrepancies
• Process returns and create return authorization (RA) documentation for vendor returns
• Organize, stock, and maintain warehouse inventory and storage areas
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Work closely with sales, fabrication, installation, and delivery teams

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping and receiving, inventory, logistics, material handling, or customer service role preferred
• Construction, countertop, granite, stone, cabinetry, or building materials experience is a plus
• Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible schedule availability as needed
