Job summary

Alder Granite in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role you will operate and maintain granite processing machines, such as CNC routers, waterjet cutters, and polishing equipment, and contribute to safe, efficient production.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of relevant experience, and strong mechanical skills with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of relevant manufacturing or machinery experience.
• Experience with granite machinery is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain granite production machinery.
• Set up and run CNC routers, waterjet cutters, and polishing equipment.
• Monitor production quality and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping in a clean workshop.
