Coldspring in Cold Spring, MN, is seeking a Gang Saw Operator to load, set up, and operate automated multi-wire gang saws to convert granite blocks into slabs. Responsibilities include precise handling, documentation, and adherence to specifications to ensure high-quality slabs.

You will use overhead cranes, verify thickness and flatness, and record production data while following safety protocols. This is an hourly, full-time position with comprehensive benefits and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• Able to read work orders and production tickets.
• Proficient in measuring using imperial and metric tapes.
• Comfortable with overhead crane operations and safety protocols.
• Flexible to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Load, set up, operate and unload granite blocks for slab production.
• Position blocks with overhead crane and ensure correct orientation.
• Program saws according to tolerances and production tickets.
• Complete the Saw Report documenting cuts and materials.
• Verify slab thickness and flatness to meet specs.
• Unload and inspect slabs, label and log into JDE system.
• Bundle slabs and prepare for delivery.
