Job summary

Great Lakes Granite & Marble in Michigan is seeking a skilled countertop fabricator. You will read drawings and blueprints, lay out designs on stone, and fabricate granite, marble, and quartz with care to minimize defects. The role rewards attention to detail and teamwork, with opportunities to train committed individuals.

This on-site, full-time position may require overtime and lifting heavy pieces. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift 50–75 lbs are preferred.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and pride in crafting high-quality products.
• Motivated, self-directed and able to work without close supervision.
• Ability to understand drawings and derive layouts or dimensions from sketches and blueprints on stone surfaces.
• Experience in fabricating granite and engineered stone; material inspection, handling, cutting, grinding and polishing is a plus.
• Team player with ability to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal communication skills and a valid driver’s license.
