Job description

Greybull Stewardship is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for its portfolio company, Grand Welcome. Grand Welcome is a leading franchisor in the short-term vacation rental industry, combining technology, local expertise, and a customer-first approach to deliver value to homeowners, guests, and franchise partners. We are looking for a strategic, hands-on CFO to shape financial strategy, optimize unit economics, and drive performance across corporate and franchise operations.

Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will oversee all financial activities, planning, transaction oversight, analysis, and strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Hospitality, Property Management, or Real Estate.
  • Preferred experience in the Short Term Rental industry.
  • Proficiency with Sage Intacct and Guesty PMS system.
  • Experience with franchising or multi-unit real estate.
  • Strong skills in database and accounting applications.
  • Experience with data analytics, dashboards, and visualization tools.

Requirements:

  • Financial modeling and scaling experience.

Job Duties:

  • Remote work with biannual in-person travel.
  • Manage Accounts Payable, Receivable, Payroll, Financial Analysis, and Treasury.
  • Develop financial policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
  • Lead the Annual Operating Plan process, monitor results, and develop KPIs.
  • Manage cash flow and banking relationships.
  • Partner with the CEO on business strategies to maximize enterprise value.
  • Contribute to leadership discussions.
  • Ensure data accuracy and financial analysis for franchise owners.
  • Build and lead a scalable finance team.
  • Oversee financial statements and reporting to the Board.
  • Support sales, operations, and product teams with financial insights.
  • Ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations.
  • Manage audits, tax filings, and relationships with auditors.
