Job summary

Isabella Bank is seeking a seasoned professional to lead wealth-related trust and investment management activities in Michigan. The role focuses on administering trusts and estates, and expanding client relationships for Isabella Wealth.

The candidate should have a strong background in finance, a minimum of five years in trusts, and professional credentials (CTFA/CFP preferred). This position emphasizes growth, leadership, and cross-service opportunities within the bank.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• CTFA or CFP designation preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of Trust experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer personal trusts, estates, and investment management accounts per governing documents.
• Ensure assets are invested according to the Investment Policy Statement and account objectives.
• Manage client relationships with a high level of satisfaction.
• Develop new account relationships through community and professional visibility.
• Engage in client expansion and cross-serving for bank services.
• Pursue new business and expand Isabella Wealth's market presence by building relationships to generate leads.
• May supervise, coach, train, and mentor Isabella Wealth staff.
• Responsible for various projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

General Purpose: Business development, administer trusts, estates, and investment management accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer personal trusts, estates, investment management accounts in accordance with terms and provisions of the governing document.
• Ensure that assets are invested according to the Investment Policy Statement and consistent with the purpose of the trust and/or account objective.
• Manage client relationships by providing a high-level of client satisfaction.
• Develops new account relationships through community and professional visibility.
• Engage in client expansion and cross-serving for bank services.
• Actively pursues new business and expands market presence of Isabella Wealth by building and maintaining relationships with clients, bank employees, attorneys, and other centers of influence to generate leads.
• May supervise, coach, train, and mentor other Isabella Wealth staff.
• Responsible for various projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience

• Bachelors’ Degree required in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of Trust experience.
