Job summary

Maricopa County seeks an Attorney IV to lead the Grand Jury Bureau within the County Attorney’s Office. You will supervise attorneys and professional staff, present cases to the grand jury, and manage panel empanelment and orientations while coordinating with law enforcement and the courts.

Responsibilities include policy development, training, and ensuring high-quality work product, with stakeholders across the county.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-approved law school.
• Admitted to practice law; in good standing by time of hire.
• ACJIS Terminal Operator Certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and manage the Grand Jury Bureau staff.
• Present cases to the grand jury and oversee empanelment proceedings.
• Develop and modify policies and procedures related to grand jury matters.
• Coordinate training and outreach with law enforcement and the courts.
