Job summary

Columbia Grain International, LLC, a global leader in grain origination, processing, logistics, and distribution, is seeking a Warehouse Operator at our Sweet Grass, MT facility. You will record data on receiving, storing, and shipping grain, and work with the team to meet daily operational goals while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Industrial/manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Basic computer literacy and mechanical skills.
• Good work ethic with safe attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and control flow of grain.
• Weigh grain accurately and record in computer system; print and sign scale tickets.
• Take representative samples of unloaded and loaded grain.
• Track storage tank and bin locations with charts.
• Monitor grades by weighing samples and recording results.
• Start conveyors, bucket elevators, and manage storage/tank operations.
• Prepare rail cars for loading and manage rail car lids safely.
• Operate a forklift and maintain equipment; document maintenance in system.
• Housekeeping and sanitation of the working area.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
