Job summary

Columbia Grain International in Pullman, WA is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our team. You will record data on receiving, storing, and shipping grain, operate conveyors, weigh and sample grain, and help maintain storage tanks and bins.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer and mechanical skills, good teamwork, and a safety-conscious work ethic. Prior industrial experience is preferred but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Industrial/manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Clear written and spoken communication; basic computer use.
• Mechanical skills, safety conscious, good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and control grain flow via gates.
• Weigh grain and print scale tickets for all shipments.
• Take representative samples of grain in/out.
• Track storage tank/bin location charts and contents.
• Record grades by weighing samples and recording results.
• Operate conveyors, elevators, and storage/tank selection.
• Prepare rail cars for loading and handle safety harness use.
• Operate a forklift and perform routine maintenance documentation.
• Maintain housekeeping and sanitation in the work area.
• Follow safety policies and perform other duties as assigned.
