Qualifications

• Must pass background check to allow boarding of vessels per CBP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Weigh, sample, and examine grains and commodities at mills and elevators.
• Operate testing equipment in a laboratory setting.
• Record weights, compute nets, and issue official weight certificates.
• Maintain documentation of scale conditions and weighing activities.
• Obtain samples from railcars, trucks and other conveyances using standard tools.
• Perform inspections for fitness to load and phytosanitary certification.
