Qualifications

• 1 month of recent and verifiable experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate grain conditioning equipment.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, or crops to ensure quality and specifications are met.
• Sort according to color, species, length, width, appearance, feel, smell, and quality to ensure correct processing and usage.
• Load/unload using forklifts, suction gates, shovels, brooms.
• Weigh crop-filled containers, and record weights and other identifying information.
• Place crops according to grade including in totes or bags.
• Discard inferior, diseased, rotten, or defective crop or foreign matter.
• Monitor and report grain grades.
• Use semi to market.
• Service and repair.
• Maintain an organized work environment, including storage areas and surrounding facilities.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the team.
• Must be able to speak and understand English.
