Job summary

Glacial Lakes Energy (GLE) in Aberdeen, SD, is hiring a full-time Grain Operator. No experience required; we provide thorough training. You'll run grain handling, operate the corn dryer, and manage loading/unloading of trucks and railcars for DDGs and ethanol.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• 1–3 years of experience in grain blending or grading preferred, but not required—we provide full training.
• Experience working with grain producers and transportation personnel is a plus.
• Must enjoy working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate corn dryers and support all grain handling processes.
• Assist in grain blending, grading, and sample retention.
• Oversee loading and unloading of DDGs and ethanol via truck and rail.
• Collaborate with producers and transportation personnel.
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
