Job summary

Mountaire Farms is seeking a team member to operate conveyance equipment, load grain for outbound shipments, perform housekeeping, and assist with minor repairs. You will operate grain drying equipment and follow instructions for work assignments at our Wye Mills facility in MD.

Qualified applicants typically have a High School Diploma or GED, 0–2 years of experience, the ability to lift over 50 lbs, and can climb up to 150 feet as needed for the role.

Job description

Operate conveyance equipment to move grain to and from storage. Setting up, controlling, adjusting and feeding grain into semi-automated machines and equipment. Unload and load trucks, shipping containers and rail cars with grain. Operate other equipment, use hand tools to maintain good housekeeping standards and assist with minor repairs. Computer understanding - run the scales and enter data.
