Job summary

A Sheldon, IA area Grain Operations Specialist opportunity handled by Aventure Staffing offers Monday–Friday day shift at $18/hour, with occasional Saturday and extended hours during peak seasons.

You will be at the heart of the grain handling system, ensuring safe, efficient operations and reliable service while supporting a team that feeds the world. CDL is a plus and prior ag/grain experience is appreciated.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Hands-on mechanical curiosity and willingness to learn equipment.
• CDL is a plus; prior ag/grain/manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks arriving at and leaving the facility (trucks only, no rail).
• Operates grain dryers, conveyors, bucket elevators, and mobile equipment like skid loaders and tractors.
• Monitors grain quality and ensures loads meet standards.
• Performs daily equipment checks, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Keeps facilities clean and safe according to company and OSHA standards.
• Assists customers and truck drivers with fast, friendly service.
