Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. seeks a Grain Operations Supervisor to lead daily grain facility activities, ensuring safe, efficient operations through equipment maintenance, housekeeping, inventory management, and quality control.

You will supervise and develop a team, set priorities, and drive performance and engagement. You will manage safety programs, conduct investigations, monitor budgets, and support capital planning to meet operational and financial objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred; equivalent operational leadership experience may be considered.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in grain operations or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily grain facility operations to ensure safe, efficient performance.
• Lead and develop a team of grain workers, setting priorities and coordinating workflows.
• Manage safety programs, safety training, and incident investigations.
• Assist with annual budgeting and capital planning; monitor operating expenses and budgets.
• Ensure grain quality through proper handling, drying, blending, binning, aeration, and inventory updates.
• Track grain shrink and losses, maximize blending to minimize financial impact.
