Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. in Michigan is seeking a Grain Operations Supervisor to oversee daily grain facility operations, ensure safe, efficient performance through equipment maintenance, housekeeping, inventory management, and grain quality control.

This role leads a team of grain workers, sets priorities, coordinates workflows, and drives performance and engagement. You will manage safety programs, monitor budgets, and support capital planning to meet operational and financial objectives, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience required.
• Operational leadership and team development experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and document facility operations with equipment upkeep and housekeeping.
• Lead and evaluate grain worker team performance.
• Manage safety programs including training and investigations.
• Assist with annual budgets and track operating expenses.
• Track budgets and oversee grain flows and inventory updates.
• Ensure grain quality through drying, binning and aeration procedures.
• Monitor losses and optimize blending to minimize shrink and financial impact.
• Coordinate priorities and deliverables with leadership.
