Job summary

CHS Inc. is seeking an Operations Specialist in Crookston, MN to support grain facility operations. You will manage loading/unloading, equipment setup, and on-site maintenance while building relationships with growers and customers.

You will work with loaders, conveyors, and trucks to ensure safe, efficient processes. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable service to our agricultural customers.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations.
• Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile.
• Pre-employment screening may be required per job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently under supervision.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of commodities handled and comply with policy and regulations.
• Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading, including sampling and connecting hoses.
• Load and unload agricultural inputs using heavy or light machinery.
• Monitor all load out functions and ensure safe operations.
• Operate automated scale/dump systems and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Maintain inventory quality and conduct housekeeping duties.
• Deliver products to customer sites and ensure excellent customer service.
• Identify safety hazards and report to supervisor.
