Job summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a Grain Operations Intern for the Tracy, MN area during the fall harvest season.

You will work closely with Ag Retail Cooperative Customers to provide top-level service and information, while gaining hands-on exposure to grain handling, inventory control and safety procedures. This paid internship offers practical skill-building, leadership development, and potential long-term growth within CHS.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture related degree program.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Software.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor all loadout functions.
• Understand and operate automatic scale / dump systems.
• Blend product as prescribed and generate blends.
• Work with patrons in a courteous and professional manner.
• Monitor and maintain quality of inventory and blended products.
• Load and unload product from trucks.
• Operate heavy equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed to ensure facility operates smoothly and customers receive excellent customer service.
• Conduct regular house cleaning duties, processes, and keeping records.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

You will work extensively with Ag Retail Cooperative Customers to ensure they are provided with the highest level of service and information possible. Minimum Qualifications (required)

• Currently enrolled in Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture related degree program

Additional Qualifications

• Agriculture experience or background knowledge helpful.
• Previous internship experience helpful, but not required.

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
