Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. is seeking a grain operations associate to perform receiving, storage, cleaning, packaging and shipping of grain at our Michigan facility. You will be part of a team that ensures quality and safety throughout the operation.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts or similar equipment, following food safety policies, and participating in required training. A high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of relevant experience are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience is required.
• Must be able to stand long periods and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform grain operations tasks including general facility upkeep, sampling for quality, and packaging.
• Operate mobile equipment such as forklift, bobcat, or payloader.
• Maintain knowledge and adherence to food safety policies.
• Ensure safety and quality of products in all tasks.
• Participate in required food safety and quality training.
• Identify and report food safety and quality issues to management.
