Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of grain trading experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the grain trading industry, including hedging, marketing, logistics, and risk management.
• Futures, basis, spreads, and commodity risk management familiarity.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external contacts.
• Strong organizational skills for a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and company policies.
• Degree in Agriculture, Business, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM/AGM with daily trading and operational tasks.
• Monitor Daily Position Report, positions, and trading strategy.
• Track daily position limits and provide timely reports.
• Coordinate processes between traders and execution staff.
• Develop relationships with suppliers and end users to grow business.
• Trade commodities by truck and rail; learn rail rates and programs.
• Ensure compliance with trade rules, credit limits, and regulations.
• Document and review grain positions and settlements.
