Job summary

South Dakota Soybean Processors LLC is seeking a Lab Technician to support grain, meal, hulls, oil, and by-product testing. You will handle sampling, testing, and data reporting under QA/QC guidelines to ensure accurate results.

You'll calibrate and maintain multiple instruments (KF, NIR, ICP, OSI, Eco Titrators) and work with cross-functional teams to uphold safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience performing laboratory sampling and testing of grains and by-products.
• Familiar with QA/QC procedures and reporting results.
• Ability to calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for laboratory sampling and testing of sunflowers, soybeans, meal, hulls, pellets, oils, and by-products.
• Calibrate, validate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Interpret test results, compare to specifications, and advise data release decisions.
• Review data from 3rd party labs for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a safe, clean work environment.
