Western Grain Marketing LLC is seeking a Grain Handler Technician to safely handle, store, and move grain within a facility. You will operate equipment, maintain storage systems, and ensure safety and quality standards compliance.

This role supports grain processing, shipping, and receiving while keeping the work area clean and organized. Responsibilities include loading/unloading grain with conveyors and elevators, operating dryers, performing quality checks, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or previous experience in agriculture or a related field.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Basic math and computer skills for record-keeping and inventory management.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery.
• Ability to operate, maintain, and repair agricultural equipment safely and effectively.
• Forklift or heavy machinery operation certification.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects for loading/unloading.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Commitment to safety guidelines and regulations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with multi-tasking ability.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in varied weather conditions and outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.

SALARY RANGE: $15.00 - $19.00 / hour

A Grain Handler Technician is responsible for safely and efficiently handling, storing, and moving grain and related products within a grain facility. This role involves operating equipment, maintaining storage systems, and ensuring safety and quality standards compliance. The technician is key in facilitating grain processing, shipping, and receiving activities while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and load grain using conveyors, augers, and elevators.
