Job summary

NEW Cooperative in Red Oak, IA is seeking a safety-minded Agronomy and Grain Services Associate. You will assist with loading, unloading, and operating equipment, ensuring accurate handling of NH3 and related products, and supporting customers with responsive service.

This position requires a Class A CDL (HazMat preferred), the ability to read safety rules, and strong communication. The role reinforces safety and professionalism, offers referral incentives, and provides competitive compensation

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and insurable to drive.
• CDL Class A with tanker and HazMat endorsement required or obtainable.
• Commercial Handler’s or Applicator’s License required or obtainable.
• High school diploma or GED with 1-3 months related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading of products from vehicles based on work orders.
• Unloads and loads grain from trucks and wagons.
• Fill and transport NH3 equipment and operate application equipment.
• Operate a semi-truck in the off-season or as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and equipment.
