Job summary

Star of the West Milling Co in Vermontville, MI is seeking a dependable, full-time grain and fertilizer handler to support multiple locations in the Vermontville/Potterville area.

Responsibilities include unloading grain trucks, operating drying and conditioning equipment, handling inventory, loading fertilizer, and blending fertilizers. Safety-conscious, team-oriented individuals with outdoor work capacity encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous grain, fertilizer, agriculture, or equipment-handling experience preferred
• Dependable and willing to work as part of a team

Description

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team in a full-time grain and fertilizer handling position serving multiple locations throughout the Vermontville/Potterville area.

Duties

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Dump and unload grain trucks
• Operate grain drying and conditioning equipment
• Assist with grain storage, handling, and inventory
• Load fertilizer products safely and efficiently
• Mix and prepare custom fertilizer blends to meet customer needs
