Job summary

Heartland Co-op in Mondamin, IA is seeking a Full-Time General Labor team member to receive and store commodities, load trucks, assist with scale operations, and maintain inventory across grain, rail, and agronomy operations.

You will perform routine maintenance and safety-compliant tasks, log activities, and support various facility operations; a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required, with physically demanding work and lifting up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to follow written and oral safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Receive and properly store commodities and products into the facility.
• Load customer and Heartland Co-op trucks/trailers with products using end loader, forklift or by hand.
• Assist with scale operation.
• Assist in conducting and maintaining accurate inventory of commodities and products within the facility.
• Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping in elevators, mix plants, mills, warehouses and shops; maintain log books or applicable maintenance program.
• Prepare trailers and rail cars for loading; monitor and record temperature cables, fan usage, and bunker storage when applicable.
• Assist in scheduling, loading and delivery of fertilizer, chemicals and seed products to customers or Heartland Co-op equipment.
• Maintain dock logs and ensure events are recorded chronologically.
