CGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an operations leader for our Utica river facility in Illinois. You will lead employees, oversee daily grain operations, support truck and barge loading activities, and drive safety, scheduling, and reporting efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent training and work experience.
• 3 years' experience in various sides of the specific business unit.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to interact at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees at the location and manage day-to-day operations.
• Strive for profitable operations; develop benchmarks and improvement plans.
• Lead safety program: schedule monthly safety meetings and set goals.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety and environmental regulations; enforce PPE use.
• Assist budgeting by developing and revising location budgets.
• Oversee staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Coordinate barge/rail/grain inspections as applicable; manage logistics needs.
• Conduct internal quality audits and communicate with departments for collaboration.
• Promote positive image in local communities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
