Bunge seeks an Assistant Operations Manager in Henderson, KY to support inventory control, cost management, and facility improvements. You will lead on-site teams, coordinate maintenance, ensure safety standards, and drive efficiency across grain handling operations.

This role emphasizes collaboration with the Operations Manager to meet schedules, optimize space, and enhance sustainability while protecting assets and complying with regulations. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in an elevator and/or terminal is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Exposure to moderate to loud noise and grain dust.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying climates about 80% of the time.
• Willingness to work at heights up to 200 ft.

Responsabilités

• Assist and assure effective inventory control within company requirements.
• Help ensure operational costs stay at or below the plan.
• Assist in development and execution of facility improvements.
• Aid in maximizing mix & blend opportunities with available stocks.
• Assist in scheduling preventive maintenance for a safe, reliable facility.
• Support talent development for operational staff to manage costs.
• Assist energy conservation and sustainability efforts to cut costs.
• Help maintain asset security and reduce theft risk.
• Lead onsite workers, including contractors and temps.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company programs.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers as needed.
• Recommend process improvements as necessary.
