Job summary

Bartlett Co. is seeking a hands-on Elevator Operator in Scott City, KS. Responsibilities include grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, loading grain, and unloading liquid fertilizer from railcars to truck trailers.

You’ll help maintain and clean facilities to ensure a safe work environment and may be cross-trained for various tasks. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, ability to pass a background check, and availability for overtime and

Able to travel to Healy KS and Towner CO to assist with train loading and other projects.
High school diploma or GED required.
Reliable transportation required.
Must read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English.
Available for overtime and weekend work.
Professional demeanor focused on safety, quality and cleanliness.
Able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain; monitor stored grain condition; unload liquid fertilizer from railcars and load into truck tankers; maintain and clean grain facilities and equipment.
Cross-training to perform a variety of tasks within the elevator operations.
